Penetration testing since 2011, digital forensics, and an automated vulnerability-assessment framework for network device configurations — alongside the defensive half: securing sensitive patient data in a high-traffic healthcare platform, and governing regulated pipelines with Apache Ranger and Apache Atlas. Backend at depth in Go and Python. The FHIR integration behind a healthcare platform, high-throughput reconciliation services in Gin, a payment gateway rebuilt for throughput, and a Python 2.7 → 3.9 migration that returned 20% system performance.
Technical lead by practice as well as title — translating business requirements into specification, running scope, timeline and budget, mentoring juniors, and writing the documentation everyone else works from.
Currently researching the application of elliptic-curve cryptography to AI and agentic systems.
